We are thrilled to announce the dates for the TURAC 2025 Conference — mark your calendars for October 1-3, 2025.

This year’s conference will be virtual, making it accessible to all professionals across Arizona. However, we’re adding something extra special: an in-person kick-off at each site to help set the stage for the exciting three-day virtual event. We’re bringing together professionals in research administration to explore innovative solutions, emerging trends, and best practices shaping the future of our field. Get ready for three days of insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and forward-thinking discussions. Stay tuned for more details, including registration, speaker announcements, and session highlights.

Tri-University Research Administration Conference (TURAC) Announcement & Request for Presenters

Dear Research Administration Colleagues,

We’re excited to invite you to share your ideas by submitting session proposals for the 2025 Tri-University Research Administration Conference (TURAC), happening October 1-3, 2025!

We especially encourage those who haven’t presented at previous TURACs to join us! If you’re unsure where to begin, or if you’d like help finding a co-presenter, just reach out—we’re here to help!

If your topic doesn’t quite fit into the other tracks, consider submitting under the “New Horizons for Research Administration” track.

We welcome all proposals that are relevant to research administration, both in Arizona and nationally.

See below for information about an upcoming Q&A session. During this session, you can join us virtually to ask questions about support for new presenters, expectations for attendee interactions, topic ideas, and more. More details will be shared soon.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • It is encouraged that each session include at least one lead presenter and one co-presenter.
  • We love cross-site collaboration and think interactive sessions are the way to go.
  • All sessions will be hosted in a virtual platform for everyone’s convenience.
  • Remember, proposals are due by Friday, July 25, 2025

Ask & Elevate Sessions💡

Dear Colleagues,

TURAC is a great opportunity to share your expertise and ideas in a familial and supportive environment – your launch pad to SRAI or NCURA! 

If you would like to present but would like to chat to one of us before committing, please sign up for an Ask & Elevate session below:  

Ask & Elevate sessions will be drop-in, Q&A format – come and go as you are able to during the hours above. TURAC Program Committee members will field your questions to provide timely guidance and support for new and returning presenters.

Key Information

  • TURAC 2025 will be held October 1-3, 2025
  • CALL FOR PROPOSALS: Hopefully you will have received the email sent out on June 24 inviting you to submit a proposal application to present at this year’s conference. As a reminder, the link is provided again here.
    • Presentations this year can be in many different formats – from formal lectures to discussions; and can be a full hour or 15 minutes. You choose.
    • The deadline for submissions is July 25.

We are thrilled with the response we have had so far but would like to encourage more of you to consider presenting.
